My team and I created a new white label brand that would focus on multipurpose products that can be used to build a deck and used to complete projects around the house. We ultimately it StrongHome. StrongHome speaks to the quality of the products and how they strengthen your home/deck. A tagline, Quality Products, Finished Projects, was added to reinforce the idea of strength and quality.

What Was Needed

Once the brand name was officially approved, I went about crafting a logo. The logo came to me rather quickly. I had this idea that the letter H could create a house icon in the negative space and to make it pop, I made the house a bright red.

Butyl Flashing Tape

Package Design

The first product to be introduced under the StrongHome brand, was butyl flashing tape, which is often used to protect wood framing on your deck and inside your home.

I created the packaging for the flashing tape to include the installation instructions, important notes, value props, specs, and the branding.

StrongHome Aluminum Post Sleeves

Package Design

The second product rolling out under the StrongHome brand are aluminum post sleeves with post caps and post skirts. Sleeves are most commonly used to protect and extend the life of wood posts.

The product is currently being manufactured overseas and I created the packaging designs to accompany the product when it’s shipped to our warehouse.
